Merged Special Districts

List of Special Districts That Have Merged - Beginning March 2, 2010 

1. Big Corkscrew Island Fire Control and Rescue District and North Naples Fire Control and Rescue District became the North Collier Fire Control and Rescue District on January 1, 2015 (Chapter 2015-191, Laws of Florida).
2. Deering Park Center Community Development District dissolved on September 27, 2021 and became a part of the Deering Park Stewardship District (City of Edgewater Ordinance 2021-O-40).
3. East Naples Fire Control and Rescue District and Golden Gate Fire Control and Rescue District became the Greater Naples Fire Rescue District on November 4, 2014 (Chapter 2014-240, Laws of Florida).
4. Farmton - Brevard Community Development District and Deering Park Stewardship District became the Deering Park Stewardship District on May 18, 2021 (Section 190.046(3), Florida Statutes, and Chapter 2020-197, Laws of Florida).
5. Fieldstone Community Development District and North River Ranch Community Development District dissolved on October 8, 2021 and became a part of North River Ranch Improvement Stewardship District (Chapter 2020-191, Laws of Florida).
6. Fishhawk Community Development District, Fishhawk Community Development District II and Fishhawk Community Development District III became the Fishhawk Ranch Community Development District on April 12, 2019.
7. Levy County Housing Authority, Gilchrist County Housing Authority and Suwannee County Housing Authority became the North Central Florida Regional Housing Authority on June 7, 2012 (Section 421.28, Florida Statutes).
8. Main Street Community Development District and Rivers Edge Community Development District became Rivers Edge Community Development District on September 6, 2011 (Rule 42FFF-1.002, Florida Administrative Code).
9. Mediterra South Community Development District and Mediterra North Community Development District became Mediterra Community Development District on June 11, 2018 (Rule 42QQQ-1, Florida Administrative Code).
10. Myakka Fire Control District, also known as Myakka City Fire Control District, and East Manatee Fire Rescue District became the East Manatee Fire Rescue District on October 1, 2021 (Chapter 2021-257, Laws of Florida).
11. Seven Oaks Community Development District I and Seven Oaks Community Development District II became Seven Oaks Community Development District on March 2, 2010 (Rule 42NNN-1.001, Florida Administrative Code).
12. Split Pine Community Development District and Tolomato Community Development District became Tolomato Community Development District on March 2, 2010 (Rule 42SS-1.003 and Rule Chapter 42TT-1, Florida Administrative Code).
13. Westchase East Community Development District and Westchase Community Development District became Westchase Community Development District on September 20, 2011 (Rule 42OOO-1, Florida Administrative Code).
14. Westlake Village Community Development District and Hidden Creek Community Development District became Hidden Creek Community Development District on August 13, 2014 (Hillsborough County Ordinance 14-24).
