CDBG-MIT Citizen Advisory Committee

Citizen Advisory Committee for Mitigation

The Citizen Advisory Committee for Mitigation serves as a liaison between DEO and the communities and citizens located in State and HUD designated Most Impacted and Distressed (MID) areas.

Representation on the committee was established on a regional basis coinciding with the Florida Division of Emergency Management Regional Coordination teams. These regions cover the portion of the state that was impacted by Hurricanes Hermine, Matthew, Irma and Michael. Each eligible region has one Regional Representative serving on the committee to act in advisory capacity to the CDBG-MIT program.
