Generally, on-site job searches are job searches that take place at the one-stop and off-site job searches take place at the employer’s place of business. However, there are other instances where the region can consider job search on-site or off-site.
A job fair may be considered on-site if the region is hosting it in a central location where it has arranged for employers to come and workforce staff can monitor/track participant time at the job fair.
A job fair may be considered off-site when a participant attends a job fair where their attendance cannot be tracked by workforce staff. We are asking you to specify how you ensure that job search hours submitted by the participant are actual hours of participation.
