The Bureau of Workforce Statistics and Economic Research collects data in association with several federal and state cooperative statistical programs. The statistical programs below provide wages, employment, unemployment, mass layoff, occupational employment statistics and wages, and employment projection data.
QCEW summarizes industry employment and wage data for all employers covered by state Unemployment Insurance (UI) laws and federal workers covered by the Unemployment Compensation for Federal Employees (UCFE) program.
CES produces estimates of nonagricultural employment by industry.
LAUS produces estimates of civilian labor force, total employment, unemployment, and unemployment rates.
MLS summarizes quarterly data on large layoffs by industry, reason for the layoff, and claimant characteristics.
OES produces employment and wage estimates by occupation.
EP forecasts future employment levels by industry and occupation.
