GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: (1) Federal regulations related to the United States Department of Energy funding requests require states, such as Florida, that are applying for Weatherization Assistance Program funding to prepare a State Plan as part of the application process. Another part of this process is providing the public an opportunity to review and comment on the contents of the State Plan.

The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity is holding a public meeting on Monday, October 10, 2022, to receive comments regarding the State of Florida’s Weatherization Assistance Program State Plan.

The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity is holding a public review period to receive comments regarding the DRAFT Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program Federal Fiscal Year 2023 State Plan. The public review and comment period will open at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time on Monday, July 25, 2022, and close at 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on Friday, August 12, 2022. Florida Black Business Loan Program – Notice of Application Period for Loan Program Administrators

The Black Business Loan Program Administrator Application Period for Fiscal Year 2023-2024 shall open to all applicants on May 1, 2023, through June 1, 2023, pursuant to Rule 73C-1.001(2), Florida Administrative Code. Applicants must submit all information as required by section 288.7102, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 73C-1, Florida Administrative Code, to the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity by June 1, 2023.
