  Veterans Affairs education benefits help Veterans, service members, and their qualified family members with needs like paying college tuition, finding the right school or training program, and getting career counseling.

Other Support Resources

• Vocational Readiness and Employment (VR&E) Program
  This program trains or retrains and rehabilitates disabled veterans for new careers by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Disabled Veterans Outreach Program Specialists and Local Veterans Employment Representatives provide workforce and other services to VR&E referred, special disabled veterans participating in the VR&E Program (Chapter 31, Title 38, USC).  Services include:
  • On-the-job training (OJT)
  • Non-paid work experience
  • Selective job placement
  • Case management, counseling, and follow-up services
  • Provision of job-seeking training, job analysis and labor market information

• Homeless Veterans' Reintegration Program
  The Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program helps homeless veterans find meaningful employment and ensure they receive assistance with other services.
