The Bureau of Workforce Statistics and Economic Research collects data in association with several federal and state cooperative statistical programs. The statistical programs below provide wages, employment, unemployment, mass layoff, occupational employment statistics and wages, and employment projection data.

Quarterly Census of Employment Wages (QCEW)

QCEW summarizes industry employment and wage data for all employers covered by state Unemployment Insurance (UI) laws and federal workers covered by the Unemployment Compensation for Federal Employees (UCFE) program.

Current Employment Statistics (CES)

CES produces estimates of nonagricultural employment by industry.

Local Area Unemployment Statistics (LAUS)

LAUS produces estimates of civilian labor force, total employment, unemployment, and unemployment rates.

Mass Layoff Statistics (MLS)

MLS summarizes quarterly data on large layoffs by industry, reason for the layoff, and claimant characteristics.

Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics (OEWS)

OES produces employment and wage estimates by occupation.

Employment Projections (EP)

EP forecasts future employment levels by industry and occupation.

File formats supported: Microsoft Excel (.xlsx), Microsoft Word (.docx), Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx), Adobe (.pdf), Web (.htm, .html), and Rich Text Format (.rtf). Text files can be viewed by most word processors and text editors, web files can be viewed my most web browsers, and all other formats require the respective viewers to view.
