Worker Adjustment Program
If you have lost your job due to a business closure or layoff, or if you are facing a layoff, or if you have been out of work for a long period of time, there are services available to assist you in returning to work.
Through a partnership between the Agency for Workforce Innovation and regional workforce boards you can reduce the length of time that you are unemployed. Florida's Worker Adjustment Program offers a variety of assistance to aid in your job search or to retrain you for a new career if your current skills are not transferable to other jobs in the area. **Some services are not available in all regional workforce boards. Contact that regional workforce board to find out if services needed are offered by that board.
