“This week we celebrate and thank the heroic Floridians who everyday risk their lives to safeguard our citizens, visitors, and businesses. With all of the positive news about Florida’s economy over the past few years, we sometimes forget to step back and appreciate the single most important factor that allows for growing prosperity: a safe and orderly society in which families and businesses can continually engage in commerce. We are indebted to and grateful for the service of Florida first responders, and everyone who’s benefited from our growing economy should thank a first responder this week.”
