Florida Department of Economic Opportunity to Celebrate City of White Springs and Competitive Florida Efforts

The City of White Springs celebrates local accomplishments

through the Competitive Florida Partnership

 

WHITE SPRINGS – On Friday, August 8, Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) Executive Director Jesse Panuccio and community leaders will celebrate the achievements and progress in economic development made by the City of White Springs with the assistance of DEO’s Competitive Florida Partnership. The event will feature remarks from Director Panuccio, local officials, and a review of the progress and plans of the community.
Competitive Florida is targeted technical assistance that helps communities map their strengths and identify what makes them unique, then identify opportunities and improvements that fit within their character for greater economic and community development. Understanding the power of collaboration, this program builds an active network of passionate community leaders who share ideas, establish best practices, and learn from each other’s experiences.
