Florida's Unemployment Rate Drops Two Percentage Points Since Governor Scott Took Office

The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) today announced that Florida’s unemployment rate continued to decline in November to 10.0 percent - two percentage points lower than when Governor Scott took office and the lowest unemployment rate in 31 months. In addition, Florida continues to see positive job growth, with more than 120,000 net jobs gained since January and 134,800 private sector jobs added. Read more...
