Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, National Cyber Partnership, and St. Leo University to announce new cyber-security training program for veterans

TAMPA - The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO), National Cyber Partnership, and St. Leo University will announce a new cyber-security training program for Tampa Bay Area veterans on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 2 p.m. Speakers will include DEO Executive Director Jesse Panuccio, National Cyber Partnership Chairman J. Patrick "Rick" Michaels and Executive Director Michael F. Shapiro, St. Leo University Associate Vice President for Continuing Education Dr. Beth Carter, and local cyber security employers. This program is made possible by a 2014 appropriation from the Florida Legislature.
