Overview

Extended Benefits is a state extension of benefits for claimants who qualify and is only available during an extended benefits period.

Eligibility

If you exhaust regular Florida benefits and federal Emergency Unemployment Compensation (EUC) benefits and your final payment is for the week ending March 3, 2012, you may be eligible for one week (March 10, 2012) of benefits through the Extended Benefits program. Under Florida law the last week that EB benefits can be paid is March 10, 2012 (Even if you have a remaining EB balance).
