GENERAL SERVICES

Welcome to General Services in the Florida Agency for Workforce Innovation (AWI).   This office focuses on the operational functions of the agency.  It is responsible for property and inventory management; maintenance of agency owned buildings; business office lease agreements; purchasing, parking and management of the agency's vehicle fleet.

FACILITIES MANAGEMENT SECTION

The Facilities Managment section manages the day-to-day operations of 14 facilities, which consist of 21 buildings.  It also manages the agency's parking and acquires office space to house partners and AWI operation.

 

PURCHASING SECTION

The Purchasing section facilitates the purchasing needed commodities and services for associates of AWI.  It also manages the Purchasing Card Program, the purchase or leasing of copiers and the purchase of cellular phones, Blackberry equipment and paging equipment. 

PROPERTY SECTION

The Property section ensures that AWI assets are properly accounted for and maintained, assists AWI offices in managing files, surplus property and fleet vehicles.  Provides moving, relocation assistance, forms, mail records and storage management.
