Emergency Final Order Relating to the Suspension of Statutes in Response to Hurricane Idalia

On August 31, 2023, Secretary J. Alex Kelly signed Commerce Final Order No.: COM-23-030, an Emergency Final Order relating to the suspension of statutes in response to Hurricane Idalia. For the counties listed in Governor Ron Desantis’ Executive Orders, the emergency order is to toll statutory deadlines until October 25, 2023, unless otherwise extended by subsequent order, relating to comprehensive plan amendments and the submission, review and determination process for the revitalization of a homeowners’ association’s declaration of covenants.
