The Unemployment Appeals Commission is the quasi-judicial administrative appellate body responsible for reviewing contested decisions of unemployment appeals referees. The Commission is 100% federally funded. The Commission is housed within the Agency for Workforce Innovation; however, it operates as an independent review body. The Commission is comprised of a Chairman and two Commissioners, each appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate.
