  • Vocational Readiness and Employment (VR&E) Program
    This program trains or retrains and rehabilitates disabled veterans for new careers by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Disabled Veterans Outreach Program Specialists and Local Veterans Employment Representatives provide workforce and other services to VR&E referred, special disabled veterans participating in the VR&E Program (Chapter 31, Title 38, USC).  Services include:
      • On-the-job training (OJT)
      • Non-paid work experience
      • Selective job placement
      • Case management, counseling, and follow-up services
      • Provision of job-seeking training, job analysis and labor market information
